Cote de Brouilly Wines

Cote de Brouilly is one of the ten Beaujolais Cru, home to over 100 winegrowers. The winegrowing conditions on the steep slopes of Mont Brouilly are mild and sunny, overlooked by the Notre-Dame aux Raisins since 1854. Soils are volcanic with the famous “Brouilly blue stone” a part of this, which glints as it erodes creating an even more striking landscape. Côte de Brouilly wines are garnet red with aromas of red fruit combined with floral, peppery and mineral notes. Lively and structured with a good level of tannin as Beaujolais goes allowing some ageability, these are Beaujolais for those who like something with a bit more body.
