Style; dry, full-bodied Rose with cranberry and rosehip fruit and a herbaceous, savoury edge. More depth in colour than most Roses, and higher in tannin and structure.

Grapes: A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and a little of the white Clairette.

Good with: Tavel Rose is definitely a food wine, not a pretty, gentle pink for the faint –hearted. It blossoms with grilled or barbecued prawns, and fish, is delightful with tuna Nicoise, and also copes well with roast chicken with pepper and herbs.
