70cl / 48.2% - A very traditional mescal made from mexicano agave (part of the rhodacantha family of agaves), well-known for producing mezcal on the more savoury end of the spectrum. Rey Campero cook the agave in earth pits before fermenting it in wooden vats and distilling it in a copper still. The resulting mezcal is packed with wood smoke, straw and sweet espresso notes.
