Next, wines for the Turkey! As far as whites go, I am torn between the zesty Sancerre with refined gooseberry and grassy notes versus the Chablis, with its riper, more rounded citrus fruits. If you want a wine with more body and oomph, the Chenin Blanc from Radford Dale is a must have with a complex and characterful bouquet.

The reds have to start with the Chateauneuf du Pape, although this perhaps suits a more red meat based Christmas dinner.
