70cl / 50% - La Maison du Whisky has released four Cerealis bottlings that captures the numerous grains used in whisky, for its Version Francaise range. Zea Mays, named after the scientific term for corn, is made using 51% corn and 49% malted barley. This whisky undergoes maturation in charred American new oak casks, Imparting aromas of caramel, dark chocolate and an earthy breadiness on the nose, with notes of vanilla and lavender, punctuated by dried apricot and fresh, juicy peaches.
