Unlike some other reds that I have seen advertised as 'easy drinking', Vineyards Release Shiraz is just that, without being insipid or lacking in taste or body. I find it an excellent accompaniment to my grilled steak, which I smother with garlic butter. Vineyards Release Shiraz is not intimidated, or overwhelmed, but instead offers the ideal accompaniment - like a well-trained butler, discretely providing just what you want without being intrusive.
