All three varieties come from some quality vineyards in the McLaren Flat and each parcel was fermented separately in stainless steel open top vats before a spell in seasoned oak and blending to taste in February 2024. This is still a young wine, the tannins are a touch grippy, but the overall feeling is one of balance. Shiraz countering the juiciness of the Grenache and obviously the 1% of Mataro holding it all together. This isn't what might be described as a showy wine, nothing is overdone here, but it is openly fruity and there's a depth to the flavour profile that keeps giving.
