The grapes for this Pinot came from a selection of really cool climate vineyard sites up the road from the winery in the Adelaide Hills. On arrival at the winery, the team fermented them in batches separately and, as they often do to add character and complexity to the finished wine, fermented a few with a layer of whole bunches at the bottom of the fermenter. It was blended from the best vats, just prior to bottling. It has developed a little in bottle and is tasting fantastic right now.
