The 2019 Conjurer is a remarkable blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cabernet Franc, and 12% Merlot. Our 3 Estate Vineyards in the Walla Walla valley, Red Man, and Horse Heaven Hills AVA’s make up the fruit for the age- worthy yet approachable Bordeaux style blend. Starting with the gorgeous, medium ruby red color, it follows with aromatic notes of black cherries, dark berries, cinnamon spice, and cassis. It is richly textured yet still retains terrific acidity. Flavors of ripe Bing cherries and plum are balanced with earthy notes of tobacco and cool, wet forest floor. This year’s blend is amazingly fresh and vibrant, and should age for another 12-15 years. As always, enjoy this wine with great friends.
