There is a depth of fruit on the nose all playing a black card - blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherries are all distinctly noticeable. Layers of vanilla spice and hints of mint mingle with the delicious, ripe black fruit and everything is wrapped in a blanket of silky tannins. Echoes of the Bordeaux style, but with the thumping fruit core that only the best of the New World's winemakers can produce.
