Santenay, is a region renowned for creating premium Pinot Noir. With its sprawling vineyards surrounding the village, it is here that the winemaker, Oliver Leflaive, saw the potential of the premium Pinot Noir grapes. By taking small parcels from multiple vineyards, he has combined structure, quality of fruit and elegance in this wine. This results in a wine which shows an earthy but fresh nose which elegantly evolves into fruity glimpses on the palate. An exceptional example of Burgundian Pinot Noir and an excellent addition to any wine rack.
