An excellent, flavourful wine when it is on form: some (too many) bottles reek of sulphites.

This is a fairly dry but fruity full-bodied white made from dried grapes using the Italian "appassimento" method to produce a richer flavour.My normal go-to white is a sauvignon blanc but this is well worth a try for a change - perhaps part way between a sauvignon and a chardonnay; a good winter white.
