Wine Celler del Roure - The flagship wine of the domaine has radically changed in the last few years with a blend of 80% Monsatrell and 20% Cariñena. This Maduresa vintage follows this recipe with one small change - 10% of both Cariñena and Mandó now accompany the Monastrel. Fermentation takes place with 30% whole bunches and wild yeasts in stainless steel vats. It only undergoes 10 months of ageing in 225- to 500-litre French oak barrels. With a charming style, a perfectly integrated oakiness and balance, it's very Mediterranean and expressive - easy to drink right now.
