Wine SHAW + SMITH - Shaw + Smith has three vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, at Balhannah, Lenswood and Piccadilly, totalling 59 hectares. Aiming for elegance, restraint and ageability, this Chardonnay has bright acidity and generous flavour. It has notes of white flowers, citrus fruit and nectarine, typical of the region in which it is grown. This is a Chardonnay with intense flavours of ripe peaches, lemons and toasted hazelnuts, which mingle with notes of flint and damp stones. The palate is delicious, with great density and depth, for a perfect balance.
