The catch-all Vin de France appellation can be much more than its somewhat lowly status might suggest! It is a truly exciting new wave of winemaking thinking and the wines labelled as Vin de France often have small parcels of wines that are from very lofty regions that we declassify and blend with great value base wines to delivery true value for money and of course bash the rule book about the head a little. This delicious Grenache led red has a lovely parcel of Syrah included in the blend and a very special splash of seriously rich and ripe Carignan that really sets this wine above its VdF status!
