We love a no-fuss whisky with a bit of intrigue behind it. Bottled by Gordon & Macphail, this 14 year old Ardmore arrives at a strong cask strength 57.9% abv. It was aged in first fill bourbon barrels, distilled in June 1991 and bottled in May 2006. It is free from chill filtration and comes with a cask-imparted pale gold colour.
We have found that this punchy dram goes well with a drop of water to open it up. But don’t take our word for it, find out for yourself!
