Faillas first vintage release was as Failla-Jordan in 1998. That year, Failla's first release of Alban Vineyard Viognier (Edna Valley) and Que Syrah Syrah (Sonoma Coast) coincided with planting the first blocks at the Estate Vineyard in Cazadero. The first Estate releases would be several years away and the pinot Noir offerings now include wines from seven different vineyards in Northern California and one in Oregon. This wine has it all – warm notes of baking spice, wild sage and classic cherry with fine tannins.
