Like the best English sparkling wines, Hambledon uses only the classic varietals grown in Champagne – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This Hampshire estate happened to be home to Englands first commercial vineyard, back in the 1950s, a site that was rejuvenated by current owner Ian Kellett. A step up from their Classic Cuvée, the Première Cuvée is a blend of 58 percent Chardonnay, 18 percent Pinot Meunier and 24 percent Pinot Noir, offering a richer style of fizz.
