Appreciated for being a delicate wine, Volnay is often portrayed as one of Burgundy’s more feminine wine. The different structure of the soil make the "Santenots" a very aromatic and elegant wine, delicately complex and concentrated all at the same time.
This wine pairs well with game or prime rib.
