With a vivacious ruby appearance, this has a beautifully delicate yet complex perfume of peppered raspberries, red cherry and an understated southern French 'garrigue' (wild herb) character. On the palate, it is consummately soft and succulent, with super-fine tannins and fresh acidity; both of which provide definition, structure and refreshment value, making the wine ever so enjoyable to drink now and over the next 3-4 years. Proprietor, Cécile Dusserre, has a passion for classical dance, so it is no surprise that the wines she handcrafts have sublime poise, balance and elegance.
