Courvoisier Cognac’s reputation as the finest Cognac available was reinforced by Napoleon III who in 1869, granted Courvoisier Cognac the title of ‘Official Supplier to the Imperial Court’. L’Esprit contains a blend of the rarest, oldest and finest Cognacs, dating from the Napoleonic era to the twentieth century. L’Esprit is decadently presented in an individually numbered, hand-cut Lalique crystal decanter, denoting the finite stocks, history and rarity of this fine Cognac. L’Esprit is very rich and complex, fresh and vibrant though well matured. Tasting Note: It exudes delicate flavours such as old port wine, the hint of coffee beans and the smoke of a fine cigar exude, whilst dense, sweet fragrances such as hot fruit cakes with cinnamon, dry apricot and honey captivate.
