Charles Smith is a former rock band manager who has become a wine industry mogul. After touring around Europe he developed a love of good wine and decided to turn his hand to winemaking, producing his first wine in 2001. Charles's knowledge of and respect for old-world winemaking techniques, coupled with his commitment to how people actually drink wine, is what makes his wines so special. Chateau Smith, made from parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia and Yakima Valleys, is meant to be enjoyed now without pomp and circumstance.
