Le Petit Caillou is a wine made from family vineyards in Saint-Julien, where thanks to their exceptional richness in stones ("cailloux"), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot express their very best.
The 2016 is deep garnet in color with very nice fruit and a well integrated wooden note on the nose. With rich structure and a long finish, this is a charming wine that is pleasurable to drink in its youthful prime or keep for a few years when its aromas turn to cedar and Havana cigar.
Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
