The Bread & Butter Reserve Chardonnay is about as rounded and robust as Chardonnay gets yet with great balance to prevent it becoming overly "fat". It boasts intensity worthy of pricier wines with honey, lemon, grapefruit and cream coming to the fore. It also has a lot of tropicality with mango, guava, ripe apricot and peach flavours. Finally, the expected oak use from the Bread and Butter wines fills it with oaky decadence and toasty notes. It is fantastic.
