The Breede River Valley is an ancient alluvial river bed which once funnelled vast torrents of water from the neighbouring Hawequa Mountains. Today, it forms a fertile and brilliantly-drained bed on which the vines for this excellent Chenin Blanc can grow! A lovely, light-as-a-feather Chenin; not too textured and rich like some of the Swartland styles, but suffused with a lovely delicacy and pin-sharp, beautifully balanced acidity.
