Benjamin Leroux's version of Vosne Romanée stays true to the region's reputation for class and elegance, but with modern touches. He's a "less is more" kind of guy when it comes to winemaking, using gentle techniques in the cellar, allowing the grapes to shine on their own. Post fermentation this wine is aged for 18 months in traditional 330L barrels of which no more than 25% is new and, true to his ethos, this is precise, with a focus on freshness and vibrancy with aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, and hints of rose petals. When you taste, expect a silky texture with flavours that dance between fruit, earthy notes like truffle or forest floor, and a bit of spice. A complex red that is just starting to come into top-form.
