Wine Maison Champy - Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wine, is the most extensive communal AOC in the Côte d'Or. The vineyards are almost entirely located on the hillside, on limestone mixed with clay, with an easterly to southerly exposure. Made from a selection of old vines planted in 1945 on the Prévoles , Levées and Piroles terroirs, the Beaune Vieilles Vignes cuvée reveals a lovely aromatic intensity with aromas of stewed black berries and sweet spices, with a fresh, concentrated palate.
