70cl / 43% - This blanco Tequila from the Destileria Cascahuin in El Arsenal, Jalisco, was produced by master distiller Salvador Rosales Torres. For a rounder palate, it is rested for 21-to-28 days in ex-brandy casks that were previously used to mature Oaxacan mezcal. 1123 offers aromas of roasted pineapple, warm butter, baking spices and smoked pepper, joined on the palate by viscous hot cinnamon, sweet potato, oaky vanilla and almond notes.
