I liked how the instructions were easy to follow and there was a step by step guid along with photographs. One thing that I did not like so much was that the estimates for the timings were often not right, the kits often tooka lot longer than they said they would whichwas frustrating and made it difficult to plan our meal times. The recipes were tasty though and the contents of the kit was good quality most of the time, when I did have an issue with out of date meat on one occasion they quickly credited my account. Overall I was very satisfied.

Hello Fresh has been a godsend during lockdown. I have found it so dull thinking what to cook each day and ending up with the same meals week after week. Hello Fresh has offered me an affordable way to try new meals and give me new ideas. Most are amazing but sometimes I struggle to find enough interesting options to add up to the number of meals I want. For instance one week I picked two really interesting sounding meals I wouldn't of made myself but struggled with the last and ended up with chicken and mash! Very uninspiring. Only a small moan really as it has been a great way of adding variety. It in no way replaces a restaurant though!

My husband and I started using HelloFresh as a tool to get us back into the swing of meal planning and to try new foods. We have been extremely happy with hello fresh. We've gotten to learn how to make so many different dishes, and try new foods. It's been a great tool to help us cook dinner at home together rather than getting take out! We have the vegetarian plan because my wife is a lifelong vegetarian, and all the meals have been wonderful. Oftentimes we see other companies doing vegetarian meals that don't have much substance or are not very filling but I can say that has never been an issue with Hello Fresh. The only complaints my wife and I would have is that there are only 4 vegetarian options per week-- so if you don't like all 4 options (depending on what plan you have) you don't get a replacement meal. We've only had a few issues with food not being fresh, but since that occurred early in the COVID-19 pandemic we attributed that to the delays in delivery (which we know is out of the company's control).

Hello Fresh is definitely one of the best on the market. You get such a variety of choices that at times it can be hard to pick. You can get food that suits all needs from mushroom burgers to interesting curries. One really good thing is that you can change the frequency of the delivery or delay or cancel at any time (within the time frames they set out). Delivery is very simple and you can track your delivery on the day to see where the delivery driver is. Though one thing that is difficult is if you are in work because it can pretty much come at any time of the day. They put ice packs in the packing so all your ingredients are kept fresh, this is important for those ingredients that need to go straight back into the fridge. The quality of the products are always good, though sometimes I would prefer stronger cheeses or more of the product. Depending on what meal you go for depends on the time it takes to prepare, sometimes after a long day at work spending 40mins or longer making dinner can be quite tiring, especially if you get your timings wrong. I would say I am relatively competent at the base level for cooking but the prep can be a little difficult. The taste on 9 times out of 10 is excellent and they have some very interesting ingredients/combinations. Only a few times have I not had the desired output. Overall they are well worth trying for a week and then seeing if you want to continue. You won't be let down.

Loads of packaging, which put me off ordering again. Appreciate the food needs to be kept cool and protected, but would prefer the option to hand back outer packaging immediately rather than having to keep it.

I enjoyed trying something new and a bit more advanced than my usual cooking. It did take much longer to prepare than I thought it would so it definitely wasn't time saving for me. The amount of food was enough for the family and it was even eaten by my four year old. I'd say that it's more of a treat for us than a regular thing.

Started well then even before covid quality of ingredients started to go downhill , had to complain constantly, I have also changed to another meal company because recipes were becoming repetitive not enough new recipes and very high in calories , not helpful to healthy eating , plus lots of meals with extra charges ie £5 more for salmon which you are already paying £10 for 2 portions , I can buy 2 pieces in a supermarket for £4 so £15 is excessive for that meal
