We were kept well informed of delivery times and the meal arrived within the specified time window. The van it arrived in was refrigerated, which meant I felt very reassured that the ingredients were kept fresh - they were all cold to the touch when I opened the box. Every item was vacuum sealed and clearly labeled, it couldn't have been more comprehensive. The instructions were on a lovely sturdy piece of card that was well designed in keeping with the brand style. The food itself was unbelievable. The meat was such high quality and the sauces were amazing - no way would I have been able to replicate them at home, despite being an adept cook. For these reason I opted to stick with this company when ordering "at home meal kits" and didn't even stray to try out a competitor. We ordered from Patty & Bun four times, twice when hosting friends (when this was allowed). They were as thrilled as we were, especially the Vegan among us who wasn't expecting big things. I would even argue that the price point was palatable - a lot of the meal kits I browsed seemed very overpriced, but having tasted this food I felt confident that it was worth that little bit extra, so had no qualms ordering again.

I enjoyed that the box contained everything needed for two burgers, and that there was two options of burgers to be had - though the only difference was how the onion had been prepared (pickled or caramelised). The meat was of high quality and tasted very good, with the cooking instructions easy to follow. Being a non-ketchup eater normally, we don't usually have ketchup at home, but as I wanted to make the burgers exactly like the recipe, I got some for this occasion - I would have preferred if the restaurant had provided this with the box, as I'm now left with a tub of ketchup I'm unlikely to use, which feels like a waste when the restaurant could have just provided a small tub with this like it did with the mayo, but I'm guessing they think ketchup is one of those household items most people have at home. All in all, I was very happy with this kit, and even though I think the price for delivery is a bit steep, what I paid for the box with delivery was definitely worth it and something I would consider doing again, lockdown or not.

We really liked the packaging of the kit although it could of been a little more environmentally friendly. The quality of ingredients were restaurant quality especially the meat from HG Walter. The burgers were super easy to prepare and cook and tasted amazing. we were very happy with our patty and bun meal kit

It was a lot of fun to recreate and really tasty! I think I did miss the restaurant experience with it, it's nice just to be in the environment and have it served up but great for trying something different, particularly if craving a certain food from a restaurant!
