Our first experience was with a local sea food restaurant as we wanted to support local people and local produce, as they are based quite close we collected our box rather than delivery. Ingredients were lovely, veg was prepped, the potato dauphinois were already prepared and just needed warming. They were beautiful! However the only issue we had was that it was lobster already cooked and we had to warm it up, which made the meat quite tough. Lobster should be cooked and eaten straight away in my opinion, however, all the other components were lovely. The meal came in lovely packaging, we had scallops for starters, they even included the shell to use as the plate, I was very impressed with this, presentation is key! The instructions were very clear, precise and simple. I believe these boxes should try to deliver a restaurant type of experience, the less you have to do the better, and this one did deliver that.
