I was given 2 bottles of the 2016 Douro Valley Reserva and I made the mistake of opening one to share with friends. It is virtually undrinkable and bears a close comparison with the Cote de Provence wine which could be bought for 1.3 euros per litre.. Embarrassing for me and for Waitrose.
