On the nose there is a lovely smoky, spicy note – tobacco and roasted coffee beans with a floral blackcurrant lift. The palate opens up, showing liquorice, black fruits, jasmine tea and silky-smooth tannins. A wine for roasted duck, or lamb chops and rosemary.
