This Vermentino is grown within 1km of the coast, which shines through in the glass. Low yields provide dense fruit with depth and complexity, with notes of lemon peel, green apple and uplifting freshly cut green herbs, but it's that subtle but saline lift to the aromatics and palate from the vineyard's proximity to the ocean that sets this Vermentino apart from the crowd. Absolutely delicious as an aperitif, but really quite something with seafood.
