Stefano di Blasi Pinot Grigio Tasting Notes by Wine Expert, David Andrews, DipWSET
This comes from the heart of Pinot Grigio territory, Verona. Most Pinot on the market is neutral in flavour, lacking in body and arguably a little boring. This challenges that perception.
The nose displays the usual pear and apple you'd expect in Pinot Grigio, but develops complexity beyond these. The lemon flavour is nice and zippy, whilst a floral blossom note evolves to wrap these all up. To taste it has a pleasant creamy mouthfeel and even a nice spice which accompanies the refreshing finish. In essence, it's crisp, fresh and ideal for all wine drinkers who want something delicious.
