75cl / 14% - The Soldier's Block wines are named after an Act put in place in 1915 that rewarded the soldiers returning from war with a block of land in Australia. These blocks were often planted with vines some of which are still farmed as vineyards today. On the nose this wine is full of raspberries, cherries and blackberries with a hint of spice. The palate is full of mixed berry compote, vanilla, soft spices and a dollop of cherry jam. Try this with roasted lamb.
