Founded in 2008 with the construction of the winery in Tupungato, Rutini Wines is part of the Bodega Rural company. The 400 hectares of vineyards are located at an altitude that often exceeds a thousand meters, on pebbly soils of alluvial origin, with a climate characterized by dry and sunny summers, with significant day-night temperature variations. These pedoclimatic conditions favor the production of excellent-quality grapes.
The Cabernet Sauvignon Mendoza from Rutini's Colección line is produced with grapes from the vineyards of Gualtallary and Altamira.
In the glass, the wine shows an intense ruby-red color. The aromatic profile is deep and complex, with notes of black fruit, followed by hints of cocoa, tobacco, pepper and spicy touches reminiscent of vanilla, due to the aging of 12 months in French oak.
On the palate, the wine shows a good concentration of red fruit, and firm but enveloping and silky tannins that denote personality and finesse. The finish is long and persistent. It is the perfect wine for game and stewed meats, especially venison or wild boar, but it also goes very well with dishes based on Porcini mushrooms or truffles.
