Our heritage blend, Mount Gay Eclipse, is named after the 1910 total solar eclipse that was visible from Barbados. It's a blend of rums distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, then matured for 2 years solely in American whiskey casks. Eclipse is the embodiment of the Mount Gay style with notes of vanilla, almond, ripe banana and dark chocolate.Golden Amber with notes of vanilla, banana, spicy caramel and summer fruit. On the palate, light to medium body and persistent with oaky character and a slightly burnt nose.
