On paper this wine really qualifies as a 'Super Tuscan', but in the glass it's far more than that. Where Super Tuscans are typically big, age-worthy wines, the Tzingarella is all about its refined aromatics on a medium-bodied, juicy palate. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot make up the lion's share of the blend with a splash of Cabernet Franc and the local Colorino grape. The result is an array of black and red fruits complemented by mint, cassis and lavender with earthy notes and hints of black olive - hugely complex and deliciously harmonious.
