Only 4,566 bottles of this exceptional vintage were produced at London Cru, London’s first urban winery. The grapes were picked from their vineyard in West Sussex and trucked in during the cool hours of the morning to retain freshness. They were then painstakingly fermented in concrete tanks, before further ageing in a mix of concrete and old barrels to create this pure and elegant red which is bristling with wild red berry fruits and a hint of violet. In the mouth it is crunchy with a layer of light, smoky tannin. We recommend you drink this in the sun, paired with charcuterie, and serve slightly chilled at 14°C. It will also pair with grilled aubergine, salty cheese, fatty fish such as salmon or tuna, duck, pork and venison.
