70cl / 40% - A limited-edition Cognac from Frapin that honours Francois Rabelais, 16th century writer, physician, humanist and ancestor of Maison Frapin's founder, Pierre Frapin. Presented in a specially-design crystal decanter from Cristallerie Saint-Louis, it offers aromas of orange, candied apricot and elegant oak that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of dried fruit, liquorice, Charentais rancio, tobacco and cigar boxes that linger in the finish.
