Our Valpolicella comes from Corti Sant Alda located some 20 kilometres north east of Verona, overseen by Marinella Camerani. Here, in the foothills of the Dolomites, local grapes such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are grown on the steep, south-facing slopes of the glacial moraines. The grapes are grown according to organic principles which minimises the use of chemical treatments. All the grapes are still harvested by hand and each autumn the wine ferments and matures in large wooden tanks in much the same way as it has for centuries. Our Valpolicella is a light and elegant red with notes of black cherry, damson and redcurrant. Please note that the case discount promotion cannot be applied to this line.
