The Alta region of La Rioja is the coolest of the three sub regions, where the wines are characterised by an expressive open red fruitiness, a fleet of foot that make them accessible and incredibly drinkable. Crafted from 100% Tempranillo, grown in vineyards that are managed in accordance with nature (no herbicides), everything is hand harvested and hand sorted before the wine has an extended ageing in new French oak barrels.
