The fussiest of all grape varieties without question is Pinot Noir. It needs very specific conditions to thrive. A cool climate, just enough water and it adores limestone soils. Thankfully for us and the De Martino family Chile's Limari Valley has the perfect climate and soil combination, the only issue here is rainfall, but this can be managed thanks to a few well positioned lakes. A wine with open strawberry fruit, a little menthol character and great freshness - a very precise Pinot Noir.
