You might not have heard of Riccardo Cotarella, but in wine circles he's a legend. American wine guru Robert Parker says he is a "brilliant winemaker" and "one of the most influential people in the world of the wine" - praise indeed. And in 2015 Riccardo was blessed with a near perfect harvest of beautifully ripe, flavour packed fruit. Conditions at harvest were dry and warm, allowing him the luxury of choosing the optimum time to pick. A long, cool vinification has created a crisp, fruity white with seemingly endless depths of inviting stone fruit flavour. Ripe and rounded, it's the perfect apéritif, and a great match for seafood or a savoury mango salad. So if you fancy a change from Pinot Grigio, treat your tastebuds to this Falanghina.
