Wine CHÂTEAU PHÉLAN SEGUR - The history of this beautiful 70-hectare vineyard next to the Châteaux Montrose and Calon-Ségur is intimately linked to the creation of the Médoc. Founded in 1810 by Bernard Phélan, an Irishman by birth, the estate would later be developed by his son Frank, becoming the Château Phélan Ségur at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, Phélan Ségur is hailed as one of the best Saint-Estèphes, in the purest tradition and with definite laying-down potential!
