Wine CHÂTEAU LABEGORCE - This magnificent Château Labegorce belongs to the Perrodo family, that also runs the Château Marquis d'Alesme. The vineyards, located on the plateau just north of the town of Margaux, come from sandy gravel and sandy loam soils. It is vinified traditionally in concrete vats. Aged for 12 to 15 months in oak barrels, 40% new wood. A charming wine unfolds on inviting aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and raspberry mixed with sweet spices and floral notes. The palate is very concentrated and is accompanied by a strong frame of grainy tannins, with a persistent and tasty finish. It will develop wonderfully to offer us all the joys of a great Margaux!
