Wine CHATEAU GRAND ORMEAU - It was in 1988 that Jean-Claude Beton, the inventor of the famous little round Orangina bottle, took over Château Grand Ormeau. He surrounds himself with the best like the famous oenologist from Libourne, Michel Rolland. The Cuvée Chevalier is the second wine of Château Grand Ormeau. The wine is made from grapes from young vines which are subject to the same vinification techniques as the Grand Vin. The nose offers us fruity and mineral scents of beautiful elegance. On the palate, the ageing aims to favour the expression of the fruits with flattering and harmonious tannins. This Lalande de Pomerol offers us a wine of great suppleness, with a remarkable concentration of red fruits. A very good value for money for this Lalande which will go wonderfully with a poultry supreme for example!
