750ml - Chilean Carmenere
Wine Concha y Toro - For more than a century, the legend of Casillero del Diablo has held the interest of the press. This 100% Carménère (a Bordeaux variety that has come into full bloom on Chilean soil) offers delicious aromas of girolle mushrooms and ripe redcurrants, combined with chocolate flavours nuanced with roasted coffee. Its exemplary balance, its mellowness and its structure invite pairings with traditional dishes or grilled meat. A lovely introduction to the wines of Chile.

Beautiful smooth wine and not to sweet

Had never heard of Carmenere before a chance visit to the estate in Chile some 12 years ago. First sip and I was in love. It is a great wine with the extra tannin taking the edge of the sweetness found in the Cabernet and Merlot from this same estate
