Camino de Seda is a wine we've never had to shout about. Its bold, fruit filled smoothness speaks for itself, and loyal followers never stop telling the world how good it is (just go online and look at the dozens of 5-Star reviews). The wine is pure Monastrell, a grape that produces a rich, meaty style of red, made by the brilliant Pamela Geddes. And, aptly enough for a wine that's from Jumilla on the ancient Silk Road trading route, this has a satin smoothness that really sets it apart (and makes it so hugely popular). Old-vine grapes produce a wine of exceptional depth and colour, with mocha, blackberry and vanilla flavours and a touch of creamy oak. Smoothly powerful yet so easy to drink - and hugely impressive served from this magnum.. Drink By Date - 31/12/2017. Allergens - Sulphites. Alcohol Units: 21.75
